Offered here is a twenty-four channel (up to 48ch upgradable) professional AES/EBU, ANALOG, & DSD recorder by GENEX, model GX9048 with many extras as listed below:1. Three eight channel ANALOG I/O cards (24 I/O channels total)2. One eight channel AES/EBU card (4-Male XLRs and 4-Female XLRs I/O)3. Original remote controller needed to operate this machine4. Original manual (PDF) and CD-ROM with all necessary software5. Loaded with two 76GB SCSI drives. Included is also a third 76GB spare drive6. USB connection cable: to connect between the remote and the main unit7. original boxes for secure (although very expensive) international shippingThis is a fully functional unit and can be used right outside of the box once you add a standard VGA monitor to this setup (not included). There is a company which supports these recorders nowadays as Genex no longer exists: www.genexaudio.orgThese recorders used to retail for about $20,000 (depending on the configuration) and their sound still rivals the best modern units of today. This particular unit seems to have been manufactured in 2003 and sold in 2005.
