This instrument kit is built by Waldron Instruments, Inc. a family owned and operated company in Bell Buckle, Tennessee................All material used are 1st quality........ not other companies rejects....... ( you really get what you pay for in instrument kits and yes they do range from A to Z.......... we build instruments from the same material that we offer in these kits. See more information about kits... This instrument kit includes Sapele Mahogany back & sides along with Sitka spruce top. It has everything that you will need to make your own Mark Stanley Style Acoustic Bass Guitar Kit from solid hardwood. The only thing you need is finish (lacquer etc.), glue sandpaper, minor hand tools, and your labor! This particular kit....... we have built the box for those that don't have the needed tools (this is not a reject but first quality. We have not installed binding and purflin nor attached the bridge.). It has a sitka spruce soundboard with a Herringbone Rosette already installed. Closed back quality chrome tuners, Pearl dots, and a solid Indian Rosewood fretboard with the fret wire installed. Mahogany neck with bolt through tenon joint, and adjustable truss rod through the sound hole with indian rosewood peghead overlay with laminated appointments. Spruce pre-shaped sitka spruce bracing, and antique styled plastic bindings. Kit even includes strings! Actual Bone nut and saddle. We make all of our kits on site and have many finished guitars as well- if you are looking for that custom instrument... We can help! This tonewood comes from sustainable woods! We offer a "How to Manual" for the first time builder by Bill Cory please note in your order if you need one. This Kit can be easily changed to a left handed model, with only the Bridge needing to be replaced! We are THE source for stringed instrument building located in the heart of the USA.
