1965 GIBSON Vintage SG SPECIAL Electric GUITAR w/ OHSC Polaris WHITE.  Serial # 312905.  Pots date 6543.  1-owner, all original.  Very Good condition overall, clean, some wear / age.  The Vibrola tremolo may have been added later as it's condition is Near Mint compared to the general wear and aged look of the rest of the guitar and hardware.  The body has the usual dings, dents and scratches associated with regular play.  Super RARE and awesome Polaris White color and looking as naturally vintage as they come.  Finish is randomly checked throughout.  A few tiny chew marks on the end of the bottom horn.100% working, electronically...playing and sounding great!  The fat neck sets up and plays very nicely all over the fretboard.  Tons of sustain all over the place.  This guitar really sings.  Good frets, no fretwear, but it looks like a light resurfacing may have been been done.  Unfortunately, the wood underneath the bottom truss rod cover screw has worn away, so there isn't anything to screw into.  This could be fixed a couple different ways depending on your preference.  It really doesn't make that much of a difference, as the top screw keeps the cover in place well enough.  Some checking on back of neck.  The serial number is on the back of the headstock, but very difficult to read.Includes a very clean original hardshell case.
