Cleanest example on the market. I don't want to sell this but I've come across some hard times financially so my loss could be your gain. This could be the cleanest Gibson v-90 you'll ever see. This is a closet classic Gibson v-90 electric guitar made in 1988. I got this as a collectors item just to admire, let it live in its case and gain value over time. This guitar never leaves it's case. It has only received two (completely reversible) modifications since brand new. I say reversible because the two original parts that were replaced are also included in the case with this sale so that makes this 28 year old guitar all original, and in near mint condition making it even rarer. The two upgrades include aftermarket guitar strap buttons (thicker, higher quality and less likely to fall of a guitar strap) and the bridge posts to the Steinberger tremolo (thicker, higher quality versions than the originals.) These were added simply to enhance the performance and safety of the guitar.
The pickup is a vintage EMG 81. The neck on this Gibson is rather unusual. If you've owned a Gibson before then you know the necks can feel likes baseball bats in your hand. This neck is super thin and very reminiscent of a USA Jackson/ Ibanez neck. The body is also slightly smaller than a typical Gibson V, making this completely unique from anything Gibson offers today. It comes with a leg rest (another Steinberger creation) that makes playing while sitting down comfortable. You will never hear anybody with another model v brag about being comfortable while sitting down. With this guitar you'll be comfortable no matter what position you hold it. The bridge can operate either as a fixed bridge or a floating tremolo by the flip of one switch. The tremolo can be switched back and forth without requiring any tools, springs, etc. There is no back plate to take off, all bridge adjustments are made through the front. The frets are all in great condition without any damage at all. Every note on this instrument frets and rings out perfectly.  The guitar is in excellent condition. The original hardshell case comes with this guitar. This is the brown leather exterior and pink felt interior USA Gibson case. The case has a built in pink felt shroud to cover the guitar from anything that might fall into the case while opening it. The case itself  is in very good condition. The case has all the original latches except for the locking latch in the middle. The case has a couple scratches but is in relatively great condition for it being original leather and going on 30 years old. This will be a very large package and shipping fees will reflect that. Guitar will be fully insured when shipped.
