This is an original vintage Rickenbacker/Rickenbacher B Series Lap Steel a pre war model from 1935-1937 The input is pointing to the player side Please see Patent Pending numbers Serial starts with B (see pic) It is a through body guitar One single volume knob Problems: One screw that is holding in low E string is not original- keys do still hold a tune but they have signs of wear and are old - and I can not confirm if they are original or not There is a buzz when you play it and don't have your hand on the metal piece over the pickup- if you keep your hand there is goes away - I suspect this is a grounding issue- but I have lowered the price significantly to reflect this as I see this is the biggest issue with the slide (but I am always open to offers) I'm not sure if the case is original or not but it does fit it well, and it's a solid wooden box- now the issue is that the previous owner put in an older watch case to keep his add ons in....strange but the case does still work well For further information please contact.
