This is an authentic Fender Telecaster that has been lovingly destroyed by hand and then assembled/set-up by a professional luthier to create a guitar that looks like a nightmare but plays like a dream. Each piece - right down to the individual screws - has been meticulously attacked to end up with a finished product that functions perfectly but looks like it's been salvaged. Classic Tele sound and a killer vibe from the Bigsby create a truly unique and one-of-a-kind instrument that can be enjoyed for decades. Pickguard is tooled leather fused to plastic on the back. All hardware is coated with a fine layer of metal that has been rusted/patina and then sealed with a fine clear coat. This is ACTUAL rust and verdigris, but is NOT corroding the underlying metal at all. It also won't rub off on your hands (same thing with the charred segments of the body). Set up for 10 gauge strings.
