Description Product Description This Warwick Thumb Bolt-On is a 5 string bass made in Warwick's Germany factory. The body is bubinga, and the neck and fretboard are both made from wenge. Warwick has given this bass a simple natural oil finish, so the natural beauty of all the wood is on full display. It's a nice break from the overdone finishes you'll find on a lot of models these days. Electronically, this bass sports two MEC J pickups. They're warm and focused, and they do a great job with the extra low B string. They're wired to an active MEC preamp with controls for volume, pickup balance, treble and bass. You'll also find a push/pull on the volume knob that lets you bypass the active preamp entirely. Unrivaled craftsmanship tops off the package.
