A rare set of mid 1920's Kingwood Robertson Bagpipes. The mounts are Nickel and Casein. Flat Combed. All of the stocks (minus chanter) have been brass sleeved to seal cracks / prevent future issues. The blowpipe is a replacement. I will provide a flex stick blowpipe as well. There is no chanter with the set. There is a piece of the tenor cord guide that looks like it was hit off a wall, and there is a small surface crack (not through) on the cord guide. The pipes themselves have an incredible tone. Bold and steady as you would expect from a Robertson Pipe. They have been played regularly with success in grade 3 and 2. They would do well in any level of competition. The pipes also make for a great travel set due to the lack of ivory. I can provide a small Leather ross bag (no canister) or Extended Small Hybrid Bannatyne (with bottle trap) for an extra $75 (or free with buy it now). I can also get them setup with various drone reeds just inquire after purchase. I am only parting with these pipes since they deserve to be played, and I have acquired a new set to take their place. Feel free to ask questions or request more pictures, etc.
