1961 GIBSON Vintage LES PAUL SG Electric Guitar w/ SIDE PULL TREM & OHSC.  Damaged & Repaired in the 1960s - Good, clean, playable condition.  Extra holes.  A real, original working class collectible vintage guitar.During an unfortunate accident in an attempt to install a stop tailpiece, the body pretty much cracked in half.  It was repaired immediately by the luthier and has held up just fine for all these years. It was a clean break and a clean repair, though the crack can still be seen on the top and bottom.  There are plastic plugs in the holes where the stop tailpiece was supposed to go.  The original side pull tremolo was reinstalled and has been there ever since.  Please feel free to email for more pics that would not fit within Ebay's 12 photo allotment.  The body shows the usual light scratches + dings, dents & scratches associated with regular play, as well as a heavier gouge in the top.  The finish is randomly checked throughout.  There are extra holes from having a 70's style pick guard installed for awhile.  Also, there appears to be some repaired damage near the input jack.  The pickups were replaced somewhere along the line.  All original controls wiring.  (see photo)100% working electronically and playing and sounding great!  The neck sets up and plays very nicely all over the fretboard.  Nice, low action.  Very nice frets with minor fretwear.  Gorgeous binding & inlays.  Wear and checking to the finish on the back of the neck, especially in the middle.  Tuners replaced.Includes original hardshell case with painted over logo.
