No modifications were made to accommodate these pickups and they are very easy to change on this guitar. Here's The Run Down:This is a Very Clean Late '60s Phase 1 Univox Hi Flyer Custom that's in great overall condition! It is used & vintage, but was obviously well maintained. There will be some minor flaws here and there, but still extremely respectable. Any flaws would consist of a some minor dings, light scratches and a small chip here or there (pictured), but better than most that I've seen (see pics). I tried to take really good pics, so you can judge for yourself. There is minor fret wear and buckle marking on the back to speak of. There are NO breaks, repairs or damage. The back of the neck and head stock are in great shape. All electronics are in perfect working order and sound great! If your looking for a great playing and sounding Univox Hi Flyer Custom at the right price, this would make a cool addition to the herd! This guitar is all original unless noted above.This '60s Univox Hi Flyer Custom, sounds and plays great! Although I think its set up great, everyone has their own preferences. If your not happy with its set up, it will be your responsibility and cost to have it set up to your liking.. The neck is straight and the truss rod operates as it should. All electronics operate perfectly! Will need new strings. The included gig bag is usable and in good condition. All zippers and straps operate as they should. Everything operates as it should, and has never had, nor does it have any breaks or repairs unless noted above. Make sure you view all of the pics and ask questions if you have any concerns before buying. I will ship this item over seas, but you must contact me for a shipping quote before buying.
