For sale is this Gibson sg deluxe 1999, a rare guitar indeed, these were a limited run which went somewhere between 1998-99 I gather. They're very cool looking guitars, great vibe about them, and much sought after due to their rarity. The 3 pickups and maestro term give it real mojo. It's had some neck damage as seen in the pics- it's been very well repaired and is solid. From looking at it, I can't tell if it actually went right through or if it was a partial break, but it's absolutely fine. It's been well used in it's time and has nicks and scratches- it's a bit worn around the edge of the headstock, which I've tried to demonstrate, but these all add to the rock n roll vibe of it. I've just had the guitar set up with a partial fret hone, and the switches and electrics have all been serviced so it's in full working order, and strung with 11's as was recommended to me with a guitar that had this kind of term system. The mini humbuckers give quite a unique sound, cleaner than standard humbuckers. This is a real collectors guitar, one to hang on to- unfortunately lack of money and an impending house move forces sale. It comes with the original case, which is a bit worn around the edges, but very cool. I would prefer collection, but would consider posting at buyers risk, or buyer could arrange courier.
