One of the very first to be imported from USASerial No. 8M243936
Unlike many Peavey T60s this one has some history! Whilst the Peavey T60 Club in Holland may disagree I am fairly certain that I purchased this guitar in 1977 along with a Peavey Deuce Amp for which I still have the dated receipt! Regardless of the 1977/8 argument, I have owned this guitar from new. It was one of 5 demo guitars imported from the USA and I purchased it from The Musical Exchange in Falmouth UK. I am still in touch with the original shop owner who can verify this!! The guitar is 100% original and. unlike many others for sale, has never been modified in any way. It still plays the way it did on day 1...... which is a tribute to Peavey. The neck and intonation are perfect and there are virtually no signs of wear. Peavey were the innovators of coil tapping with their in/out of phase switch! Anyone wanting a beautiful vintage guitar which can still compete with the best should not miss this one.
