The 311 has all the same specifications such as offset G, closed-holes and split E mechanism. The difference comes in the headjoint cut and the head being made of solid silver. Silver is denser than the nickel-silver alloy used in beginner flutes and so resonates better. The tone is richer and fuller and allows the student to develop their sound. This is the ltd edition with gold plated lip and inner tube, offering an extra layer to the sound quality and apart from being a lovely looking model, is perfect for those with silver allergies. 5% DISCOUNT offered - Please contact me for further details prior to purchaseThis particular flute was purchased a few years ago for a young student who played it for a couple of months only and then left it.
