Parlour guitar are becoming more fashionable with lots of modern examples on the market - but the chance to own a mid 1800’s example is a rarity. Handmade to a high standard, this guitar features a Cedar top, Cyprus back and sides, with an Ebony fingerboard and bridge. The tone is impressive for such a small instrument, surprisingly loud, the bass is quite prominent, with full mids and tight trebles. It works very well for fingerstyle play, but also handles strumming well - quite a versatile guitar. It would work well in any studio, or even make a great travel guitar. It’s in great condition for such an old guitar, with one repaired top crack and one repaired back crack. It comes in what looks like it’s original coffin hard case.
