Monophonic synthesizer Altair 231 (Estradin factory, Zhitomir city, 1986 year) have a four-octave keyboard and a wheel to pitch control. The instrument consists of four main blocks of sound synthesis - Generator, Mixer, Filter and Contour.Synthesis is based on 3 master oscillators. Each of them with different parameters of registers: waveform, frequency modulation. There is also a generator of white and pink noise. Low-pass filter with main parameters gives the possibility for keyboard tracking. Portamento adjustment knob is provided. To tune a pitch the tone signal is used (440Hz).Mains voltage of alternating current, V 220 (contact me please if you need 110V )Power consumption: max 10WA range of operating temperature: -10...+35CDimensions of the synthesizer: 745x350x185mmWeight: 11kg (24lbs.)The synthesizer is in good working condition. All keys and controllers work good. Cosmetically instrument is very good too (see photos). Originally these synths can't works without native volume pedal, but I resoldered the pedal connector and now you don't need any pedal. Native output jack were replaced to a new and also all old soviet capacitors were replaced too, so sound is very bright. But please note: this is completely analog vintage device and it can't sounds like absolutely new instrument. To avoid any issues about working condition I made the video where I showed how works every controller and key. Please before buying the synth carefully watch it, because I sell it as is and there is no return. I also provide for a buyer translate of front panel and manual how to tune every generator (VCO) with detailed photos and description in english (you have to open the synth for this).What this item include: synthesizer, power cord (not Estradin factory), manual for tuning of VCOs, DIN-5 to Jack 1/8" adapter for phones (connect on front panel).
