It is lightly stamped "used" on the back of the headstock. This designation means the guitar has a minor cosmetic blemish. It is a completely playable instrument with no sacrifice of tone, structure, or playability. This particular guitar has a couple dark specks in the finish on top and some small, very soft scuffs in the clearcoat near the upper f-hole. These scuffs are only visible when caught under the glare of bright lighting at just the right angle. There is a pair of black specks in the finish on the back of the body and some more small, very faint scuffs between them (again, only visible when caught just right). I have tried my best to catch each imperfection in a close-up photo. Aside from what I have described, this guitar is in flawless condition.This guitar has received an excellent professional setup. The action is low and fast up and down the neck without buzz. It is a beautiful player.A new Guardian Cases Deluxe hardshell case can be added to US orders for $75 or to international orders for $95. In spite of the Starcaster’s unorthodox body shape, the case provides a good, snug fit and excellent protection for the guitar.
