We are offering a vintage brass King Bb Baritone Horn, model 1165, serial #413013, circa 1970. Built by King Corporation, pattern reads: KING, THE H. N. WHITE COMPANY, CLEVELAND, OH. This side action, three valve, fixed bell front baritone horn has been totally restored in our Pro Restoration Shop where we have been restoring musical instruments since 1946. This horn has been totally cleaned and sterilized with all dents and dings removed, highly polished and clear lacquered for finish protection. THIS HORN IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL IN APPEARANCE. Piston plating is excellent and pistons and slides air smooth and air tight! PISTON SERIAL NUMBERS MATCH INSTRUMENTS SERIAL NUMBER!!!This horn looks and PLAYS BEAUTIFULLY!!! Instrument has been lubricated and is ready to play OUT OF THE BOX! This model 1165 has a bell diameter of 11" and a bore size of .562 and a total length of 32”. This authentic full sized Bb baritone should NOT be confused with the smaller, poorly made, less expensive imports! This "ARTISTS MODEL" features an adjustable 3rd valve slide that allows for a finer pitch adjustment. THIS INSTRUMENT DOES INCLUDE VERY NICE/CLEAN ORIGINAL “KING” CASE – CASE IS NOT NEW AND DOES SHOW SOME WEAR ON THE EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR. ALL LATCHES, HINGES AND HANDLE ARE OPERABLE!!!
