This guitar is in excellent condition for a guitar of its age. This one was made in Westerly, RI. It comes with its original Guild hard case.   The case is in good condition and fully serviceable, just not as pretty, as the guitar.   This guitar was PLEK’d by Mike Lull Guitarworks of Bellevue WA, this was done to precision level the frets with a perfectly formed crown. It makes the guitar much easier to play and eliminates any fret buzz. It also was strung with a fresh set of 10’s and a bone nut was installed. The Plek level was done to eliminate the fret buzz and not because of fret wear. There are a few minor dents on the top that aren’t through the finish, and a few minor scratches on the back (none of which would show up in the pictures). The finish is free of checking. The chrome is just like new. The instrument plays and sounds terrific, with low action, perfect intonation, and excellent tone range from its Seymour Duncan’s SH-1 neck and bridge pickups. All the electronic components function as new with no issues.  All the parts are original. The pictures don’t do justice to such an outstanding instrument. The serial # is CL00009** Compared to a Les Paul, the Bluesbird combines a carved maple top over a chambered body.  The hollow chambers were designed to be engineered sound chambers beneath the carved Maple top.  This structure results in a lighter guitar and gives the Bluesbird body unique properties of tone and sustain.   It also has a more rounded body shape.   Other features include: Grover Tuners Adjust-O-Matic bridge and Tailpiece 3-way pickup selector switch with volume and tone for each pickup Chambered  body and neck Bound Rosewood fingerboard with Pearl block position markers Guild logo and Chesterfield inlays on Headstock overlay 24 3/4" scale length, 22-fret neck, 1 11/16" fingerboard width at nut THERE ARE NO PROBLEMS OR ISSUES, WHATSOEVER WITH THIS GUITAR!
