It's a very simple but beautiful finish that doesn't get marked up easily and showcases the cool markings in the wood. The wenge neck sports a wenge fretboard with 24 jumbo bronze frets that have been crafted with Warwick's Invisible Fretwork Technology. Electronically, this bass is really decked out. It sports two custom Nordstrand MM pickups wired to an active MEC preamp. In addition to knobs for volume, pickup balance, treble and bass, there are two 3-way mini toggles for series/parallel/single-coil on each pickup. You can also bypass the whole preamp by pulling on the volume knob. The case that comes with this instrument isn't so much a case as it is a bomb shelter for your bass. It has to be one of the most durable and protective cases you can get for any instrument. Also included is a Certificate of Authenticity hand signed by Warwick founder Hans-Peter Wilfer and a user's kit.
