IF .... one even exists! ... the supply has dried up )This is probably the only shell I've had that seems to have pristine wrap .... can't find any scratches or marks or issues .....My opinion, is that this drum could pass for new or floor model (except heads) .... if Rogers were still in business.... MUSEUM QUALITYThose of you who know me, I don't say that lightly. Top head may be original or replacement (has a few stick marks). Bottom head is used clear Ambassador.Note the label: factory modified earlier Cleveland "blank" label as a "Holiday" ... indicates a transition drum? Label has not been altered by us (Rogers did this in the 60's era) .... this drum came beaver lugs (NOT converted from B&B)This offer to sell is only to fund a friend .... I don't need to sell it ( ....I'll never find another.!!)But I have no use for it. We plan to play out all our kits / drums. I won't risk this one.... doubt if it was ever giged.ALERT -> LOOKY: -- ONLY THE 14x14 BLUE RIPPLE TOM IS FOR SALE!!the other blue shells are to show how well this tom matches various other blue ripple shellsbecause several persons have asked about matching this finish to their kits. Some of the shells shown are parts of about 6 kits, most in process of restoration. It appears to have been in the transition months from B&B to beaver tail lugs. The lugs are first run series (see the short brass receivers)It came with tall hoops .... but if the buyer requests, we can replace the tall hoops with excellent early std height hoops.Details:Drum was disassembled and detailed years ago when we got it, wrap cleaned & waxed w/UV protectant. Chrome is NOT polished -- -- -- I suggest buyer wax chrome asap.Chrome is brilliant with little evidence of age. Tall hoops have a little wear on a few spots between wings .... typical..... don't know why.IF BUYER PREFERS BEAVER STYLE, NON-TALL ROGERS HOOPS, WE WILL SUBSTITUTE UPON WRITTEN REQUEST ..... FREELugs are earliest / first style heavy castings with short receivers typical of '63Swivo leg mounts are among the best I've seen of this era without being re-plated .... obviously all original looking.Even the leg cap clamping screws show zero sign of usage .... see pics...
