This is a great Les Paul Junior. It is a 2005 model which means it has so many great features that the newer versions lack. First of all, it is a full Gloss finish from the factory. That includes the top, back and sides, as well as the headstock. This was more labor intensive so to cut costs Gibson went to a satin finish later. This one looks much better and more like the originals than the satin models. This was also one of the last versions to have "Les Paul Junior" on the Gloss headstock like the originals with a blank truss rod cover. Since these Gibson has done some with "Les Paul model" on the satin headstock which is incorrect. To try and compensate some say "Junior" on the truss rod cover in some weird font that made it even worse in my opinion. The pickup in this guitar was upgraded to a Gibson P100. It is the same size and shape as a p-90 but is a stacked coil design with noise and hum canceling. It reads about 9.31 k ohms so it's slightly hotter than a stock p-90 but not as hot as a modern humbucker. The black knobs on the guitar were replaced with a set of genuine Gibson Amber bell knobs to look more like the old ones and while I was at it, I added the nickel pointers to the pots just like the old Les Pauls had. The bridge is the original compensated piece for great intonation but the bright chrome finish was scuffed to knock down the shine and make it look more like a nickel plated bridge. The tuners were upgraded by the previous owner to Gibson Deluxe tuners and work great. They were a direct replacement and required no additional holes or screws. There is a bag in the case that has the old knobs in it as well as some tuners that I assume are the originals but I've not used them and I don't know of their working condition. The case itself is a brown Gibson USA case with the pink plush interior and satin cover. Great cases! These are getting harder to find and more expensive as well. It has a few scuffs but is in great shape and functions like new. All the latches and hinges work great, the combination lock has never been set. This guitar is set up with 10s and it plays, feels, sounds, and looks great. It has plenty of scuffs and dings but nothing at all structural. It's never had any repairs and does not need any. The frets are in great shape and the guitar is ready to be played and enjoyed for many many years to come. This guitar is coming from a smoke free pet free home also. I love Les Paul Juniors and have owned a few. This one is a great one and I will miss it but I have some more projects in mind so I must let it go. I can ship to the cont US or if you're close enough, you're welcome to pick it up in central Kentucky. I'm going out on a limb here and offering this guitar at a low starting bid and no reserve 5 day auction. These seem to typically go for 750-950 but I'm going to take a chance. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks
