Hi everyone. I am selling a 1952/53 Martin Committee. I believe it to be medium bore, there are no markings on it.Good news:Plays well as is. Slides and valves move smoothly. Excellent pop when pulling slides out indicating excellent compression. All original, one owner horn to my knowledge. Played it on 2 gigs recently and sounds and plays like a Committee from this era. My research shows that Committees from this era are the most highly sought after. Serial number 185xxx.Bad news:Usual issues of a horn this age. Red rot in leadpipe. Dents and dings throughout. I small protective patch on bell tail and one on 2nd valve slide.A Committee similar to this in worse condition just sold on eBay for $1088.68. I believe this one should be worth as much if not a bit more. This sale is as-is, no trials, no returns. My eBay feedback shows that I am an honest seller. I will do my best to disclose all issues. $1300.00. Will consider reasonable offers. I am not a collector so I don't know exactly what this is worth. Thanks for your interest.
