Martin D-18 - Solid Sitka Spruce Top Acoustic Guitar w/ Hardshell Case - AS IS

Sold As Is
Guitar was sold new on 7/7/16. Buyer reported issues of buzzing on the A and D strings on 7/27/16. An authorized Martin luthier said the saddle was bad on 8/22/16. Guitar was then taken to the Martin factory on 9/8/16 where they verified that the guitar was defective. Different size saddles and strings did not fix the problem. The guitar was returned to us on 9/16/16. At this point we are unsure what the problem exactly is. Heavy pick scratching that starts at the top of sound hole on the bass side, runs across the bottom of the fingerboard, and goes through the pick guard. There's a hole in the neck heel from an aftermarket strap button installation. Bottom strap button removed from an aftermarket pickup installation. Guitar is structurally sound. No other flaws found. Includes hardshell case and strap buttons. Please see the photos above; they are of the actual item for sale.
We receive used gear on a daily basis. Some with slight cosmetic flaws, functionality issues, and sometimes it is completely broken. Our goal is to move it out of our warehouse ASAP! After the product is tested and photos are taken; it is boxed, sealed, and stored in our warehouse. We are unable to provide additional pictures. Everything we know about condition, functionality and included accessories is stated here. We do our best to describe everything as accurately as we can. Please know that if there is a deeper problem not found from our initial testing, repair is up to the buyer. Bid accordingly. Maybe conservatively.
