Up for sale we got a fantastic Vox Ac30 CC2 Guitar Amp. This has had a lot of modifications done so let me give your some info on it. This first originated as an AC30 combo amp, but I found that carrying something so large around wasn't very practical for me. So I decided to get a custom enclosure (Mather Amp & Cab) made for just the head so this could be used with any cab of my choosing. This made carrying it around a lot easier (not to mention lighter) as well as more tonal capabilities since I could use it with any cab I wanted.
After some time of that I decided to mod the inside of the amp. So after doing some research I went in and changed everything to the Lyle Caldwell specs (Look him up if you don't know who he is) and that gave the amp new life!! Before it was a little muddy and lacked clarity and now it just sounds excellent! Unfortunately I just have too many amps to play all of them so this is the one that got chosen to go. I guarantee though if your a fan of Vox sounding amps this one is going to be everything you hoped it would.
Everything on this amp works. The Reverb and Trem sound great! It has a pretty good overdrive (especially after the mods). It has both a 8Ohm and 16Ohm out on the back (I use the extension cab output since its already wired that way). There are some very minus sign of wear and tear on it. Nothing that is very noticeable at all. Most people think its brand new. I think thats pretty much it. If you have any questions feel free to ask! Thanks!
