Description Product Description This Warwick Thumb Bolt-On is a 5 string bass made in Warwick's Germany factory. The body is bubinga, and the neck and fretboard are both made from wenge. Warwick has given this bass a simple natural oil finish, so the natural beauty of all the wood is on full display. It's a nice break from the overdone finishes you'll find on a lot of models these days. Electronically, this bass sports two custom Nordstrand J-style pickups. They have a warm voice with plenty of detail up high and warmth in the bottom end, and they're wired to an active MEC preamp system. There are controls for volume, pickup balance, treble and bass. You'll also find a push/pull on the volume knob that lets you bypass the active preamp entirely. Unrivaled craftsmanship tops off the package.
