Vintage Fender Pro guitar amplifier with 1-15" JBL. The first channel sounds excellent as does the 2nd channel with the Vibrato feature. The Vibrato works flawlessly and has 2 new 12AX7 tubes in 3rd and 4th tube sockets from the left. Lush and reminiscent of Hendrix or Trower to say the least. The first tubes on the left are indeed the 5881/6L6 output tubes and they work fine, and are older tubes, one Sylvania and the other one most likely an RCA, probably not matched tubes, but sound just great. All of the pre-amp and vibrato tubes, etc. are 7025/12AX7 RCA tubes, except for the newer 12AX7's for the vibrato circuit. All original tubes will be included with the sale, as well as some extra 12AX7's for future use. The amp has been re-tolexed and looks really good. The front grill is absolutely original as is the cool Fender logo on the front of the amp. This amp also has the original foot switch, which is pretty rare for an amp of this age. The original cord is also still employed, but I would recommend the next owner replace with a grounded input plug as the amp can and will bite the user if not well insulated from ground. Always a good idea. This amp has really been taken well care of and shows pride of ownership. The carrying handle is more modern and is heavy duty plastic with the Fender logo. It has been replaced.
  As one can see from the photographs, the chassis is also all original with all original components as they should be, nice and neatly soldered and hand wired in professional fashion. Nice job. There is a very small bit of scratchiness from the pots but not annoyingly so. Really, to be expected from an amp of it's vintage. Would not take much to have them cleaned if perfection is desired. The transformer(s) code(s) places the amp as manufactured in 1961, and are all original. The amp is really a superb example of it's time. All of the eq pots work as they should.
