This is an original G&L S-500 in mint condition and one of the finest instruments ever produced by G&L. This is quite possibly the finest Stratocaster style guitar ever made. A true collector's item at a player's price and either should be pleased to add this to their personal collection. I picked this up several years ago from a collector in Little Rock, AR who collected G&L, Anderson, Suhr and early Fender guitars. I just couldn't pass this guitar up because of its extraordinary build quality, extreme beauty and playability. The pickups are the original super-hot G&Ls and the hardware is extraordinarily robust with the most beautiful chrome I've ever seen on anything. The finish on this instrument looks a foot deep and shines like the day it was built. If you're a serious player, you know what this is and how well it's made.
