Larson Brothers of Chicago began making steel strung guitars earlier than Martin. With their own ideas not tied to the past, their designs are now considered both by players and collectors to be uniquely beautiful, wonderful for tone and highly desirable.Untouched original finish, Spruce top, Mahogany body and neck.This guitar from 1930 is a model 493 with 1-13/16" nut, nice full V neck, 15" lower bout "Auditorium" size and 25-1/2 scale.The date Aug, 25 1930 is stamped inside.This guitar is in excellent condition and crack free 2012 neck set by T.
