Not much need be said for a Gibson Les Paul Standard that has been built before 2014 - when they were still built extremely well.This is a beautifully sounding guitar, perfect for rock, hard rock and blues. If you love the Guns'n'Roses/Aerosmith sound, then you are viewing the ad you need to be viewing.It has been played with great care and much devotion, and except for the occasional body wear (depicted), there are hardly any issues.Mods have been made to this guitar in order to give it a more traditional feel.Firstly, the wiring has been changed into a 50s set-up by a professional luthier. So it does not look like a mother-board anymore. Google can provide you with information on why this is much better - you can see the current set-up in the pictures available.The addition of a pick-guard that greatly improves its looksand ease of play; which you ca choose to remove. Lock belt-buckles that make sure the guitar stays with you whe you play standing - let's face it, the original ones can cause accidents for your guitar.And finally the tuners: the existing ones the guitar comes with are Locking Grovers. And while they make it very convenient as one does not have to tune almost at all, they are not popular with traditional LP hardcores like myself. Should the buyer prefer, I have a set of brand new (unsealed) Gibson Custom Grovers in nickel that I can have them changed with, before shipping.Oh, you can only have one of the 2 sets though :D The guitar will arrive with new 10-46 strings, all set-up and ready for you to rock on.In its black Gibson Case with inspection note and Gibson Standard case candy.After making it better and growing accustomed to it, I will not be happy to ship it away.
