Beautiful recreation of the 1930s classic "biscuit bridge" resonator guitar with  retro satin sunburst finish. Steel body, with super-cool satin sunburst  finish, correctly swaged back and flat-cut f-holes. Chunky mahogany neck made with traditional full neck stick and "pit prop" braces between neckstick and back.  12 frets to the body. Super-sharp slotted headstock with engraved "Zilpha" logo, satin finished, bound rosewood fretboard with 14 inch radius, medium nickel silver frets, real bone nut (47mm wide), individual open back tuners with metal "butterbean" knobs. Spun and ridged aluminium cone with maple biscuit bridge and saddle. Comes complete with lightweight durable "pod" style fabric covered rigid foam case and shoulder strap. These guitars are made exclusively for Chickenbone John Guitars to our specifications in a small workshop in Shanghai. We aim to bring you the best balance of performance, authentic retro appearance and a keen price. The logo is inspired by the Oscar Schmidt Stella guitars of the 1930s, and these guitars bear the name of my daughter, named after her great grandmother.
