For Sale Fender Strat Plus in Caribbean Mist 1986 In Superb Condition, I bought this guitar new in 1986 when working with Curiosity Killed the Cat. During the 80s and 90s I played it on many hit records (Mark Morrison, Curiosity Killed the Cat, Bee Gees), plus toured with Steve Winwood & Traffic from 1994 - 1999 (See photos of me playing this guitar with Traffic at 'Woodstock 94').Fender had a close relationship with Steve Winwood and during the Traffic tour in 1994 I had the original white pick guard replaced with this much cooler looking black mother of pearl finish. I also had the Red, Blue and White Lace Sensor Pickups (the orignal configuration) replaced with 3 x Gold Lace Sensor pickups (apparently this is the configuration used by , and ).

The Serial No is E471399. These early Strat Plus guitars are well known for their build quality and this is no exception. This is a stunning Guitar!
There is one small chip (see photo) which is on the underside back below the jack input - but this is virtually impossible to see by anyone in the audience when I'm playing it.
The guitar also has Locking Tuners and a Hipshot Tremsetter, Wilkinson needle-bearing roller nut, and sounds Fantastic! Comes with the Original Fender Case.
