I bought it quite a few years back from a fellow that was retired from BBC. The BBC flag is also included although it’s more modern and not original to this microphone. The mic was manufactured by EMI (Electric and Musical Industries) and can sometimes be found with an HMV label. EMI also owned the Abbey Road Studio of Beatles fame. It‘s in excellent condition with no cosmetic issues. It‘s working perfectly and sounds fantastic. I‘m also including the desk stand shown that came with the mic. I don‘t know if it‘s original and it has no markings. The mic can be removed from the base to fit any floor stand or boom. Here’s your chance to own a piece of broadcast and music history.
