This violin was made in Germany in 1921.  My grandfather purchased this violin in the mid 1950's.  My mother played this violin as a student in her younger years.  This violin has be part of our family for over 60 years.  I am a violinist and I love playing this violin.  I recently had a professional luthier put on new fingerboard, custom carved ebony pegs, tailpiece, chinrest, fine tuners, bridge, and strings.  He also adjusted the sound post.  The luthier also commented on the beautiful sound of this violin.  Other than a few knicks and scratches, this violin needs nothing but a good home!  I will also include a case and a bow with the purchase of this violin.
