This guitar is in pristine condition and has very recently been upgraded with an awesome LR Baggs Lyric pickup and FMI nut and saddle! This is the more expensive ARE version that has the torrefied soundboard to give it an instant broken in tone commensurate with age. My local professional luthier who did the set up was very impressed with the quality of materials, construction and overall sound. These are all solid construction including a beautiful Engelmann Spruce top and a real ebony fret board and bridge. Something even Gibson shy away from these days through cost! The FMI nut and saddle have been hand cut and fitted to perfection giving a nice low action without any buzz. Yamaha fit thick plastic pick guards that dampen the resonance of their soundboards considerably. Crucially, this one was professionally removed before a tan line could develop which has really opened the sound and also improved the asthenic. A strap button was also professionally fitted to the upper bout and internally braced. This is now also practiced by Furch, BSG and other high end brands as its the perfect place for balance, strength and importantly it also avoids drilling into the neck joint. He also restrung with elixir strings which give it a beautiful, airy tone and also won't need changing for a long time! Only selling as downsizing. This really is a wonderful looking and sounding guitar in perfect, unmarked condition. The cost of the pickup, FMI, set up and luthier work has taken the cost of this instrument to well over a thousand pounds. Even at that price it's as good as anything two or three times the price! Comes with the Yamaha semi ridged case which is of very high quality. I'm driving long distance this week so if your en route it's possible I could deliver to your door for cost of fuel. Good luck!
