English description here under after french version, thank you !!! A vendre mon VOX AC30 Non Top Boost copper/candy panel de '63-'64 en smooth tolex. Entièrement révisé (plus de 20h de travail) : chaque composant a été mesuré, les condensateurs électrolytiques d'origine reformés, il est en pleine forme et sonne comme il devrait. Transformateurs ALBION d'origine. Le circuit est quasiment intact à part la dizaine de résistances qu'il faut classiquement changer sur un AC30 à cause de la dérive des résistances carbone composition. Les HPs sont les Celestion Blue Alnico T530 d'origine. Les cônes étant rincés, ils ont été refaits par Wembley Speakers à Londres avec l'outillage d'époque.Vendu avec lampes neuves JJ en puissance, redressement et preamp.

Merci pour votre visite =================================== Up for auction is a Vintage JMI VOX AC30 Non Top Boost '63-'64 with smooth tolex. This amp is in perfect working order and was serviced : I literally spent more than 20 hours on it checking every single capacitor, resistor. I reformed all the original electrolytic capacitors and it sounds glorious now. An AC30 needs all that service to sound right. The circuit is nearly 100% original except the dozen of carbon comp resistors that had to be changed because of the value drift : just the normal service on a vintage JMI AC30. Transformers are original ALBIONS brand transformers, my preferred one. The speakers are original but the original Pulsonic cones sadly were really worn out and just didn't sound right anymore so I had to make them reconed by Wembley Speakers at London with original tooling. They are now perfect and just need some few more hours for the speakers to break up. The speakers Alnico has been demagnetising slowly during more than 50 years now and is an important factor in the tone smoothness.
The amp will be delivered with brand new JJ tubes for rectification, power & preamp.
This JMI AC30 is sounding killer and I only sell it because I got another one in mint collector grade. PLEASE ASK FOR A SHIPMENT QUOTE BEFORE BIDDING The shipping cost indicated is a rough estimation and directly depends on the courier, the destination, the options hence the need to ask for a shipping quote. I will ship with UPS, DHL, others serious couriers at your cost… You can even arrange your own courier as I know UPS is far cheaper from other countries (UK at least). Two parcels may be needed : one for the cab with speakers and another one for the amp chassis only. This is really a safe way to send an AC30. I sell this amp with the most transparency possible as I don’t want any troubles so if you think something is wrong, don’t hesitate to contact me. More pics available, please ask.
