Rare Gibson MB Banjo-Mandolin w Trap-door, original type Skin Head, early 1900's Built with a trap-door style resonator, and features a ½” rim fitted with a ½” hollow tube tone ring. The brackets are anchored by a mounting ring that fits snuggly up against a lip that’s turned into the side of the rim. It’s an excellent system and results in a very fine tone. Maple neck and rim, ebony fingerboard and bridge, arrowhead Waverly tuning machines, and The Gibson headstock logo in pearl.
