What’s Included:Vintage Fender Jazz BassContoured Hard CaseItem Condition:Excellent ConditionGuitar has been loved cherished and I’m sad to see it go :-/ Please look after it…Only a couple of very minor chips can be found at a couple of the edges. On the fingerboard only a very minor indent can be found on the near the body on close inspection. Most people wont spot any imperfections when casually looking at or playing the instrument.Any fret wear is fairly minimal. Action is nice for me - would class as moderately high.Neck & truss rod in great condition so adjusting not a problem.All pictures are of actual original item for saleProduct Description:I love this guitar it’s a beautiful beautiful instrument.I’m describing this as Basswood to be on the safeside (some have said this model is actually alder).You probably already know: real MIJ’s Fenders are generally rated on a par with American Fenders (or often better); and far better than CIJ or MIM models.This Fender Jazz Bass is a prized MIJ guitar - it was made in the highly regarded Fender Fuji-gen plant in 1993-1994. The guitars Fuji-gen heritage can be verified via the serial number.The pickups are premium custom fitted American Alnico pickups, unfortunately I don’t recollect the exact pickup model. A few years ago I had a top Bass Luthier on Denmark Street (London’s Tinpan Alley) set it up for me. I asked him to put in the best USA Jazz Bass pickups in his professional opinion. I had a lot of cash at the time so I was happy to pay a pretty penny to setup the guitar perfectly….I shall miss you sweet Fender Bass...Please no jokers offering silly money.Brief Spec:Body: Basswood (see description above)Neck: MapleFingerboard: Indian RosewoodPickups: ‘Custom’ American Alnico Pickups (see description above)Electronics: 2 x 500K CTS pots, 1 x 250k CTS pot.Features premium ‘vintage' grounding plate - see strip plate between bridge & bridge pickup.
