With the exception of parts made from metal such as strings every wooden part of every Upton Bass is made in our workshop. No parts from subcontractors, or outside workshops. We carve our own tops, backs, necks blocks, etc and even press our own plywood's from single veneers. Just top quality materials come in our shipping docks and out the other end come fine double basses we are proud to sell. Come see for yourself, and you will quickly appreciate the quality of work and passion we invest in EVERY double bass we make.
