Originally introduced in 1978, Gibson’s F-5L Mandolin, otherwise known as “The Fern,” is based on the early 1920s mandolin designs. This is a pre-owned 2012 F-5L Mandoling that features a gorgeously ornate headstock and curled horn, spruce top with figured maple back and sides, ebony fretboard, 13-29/32" scale length, and 29 frets. The neck is a comfortable-playing “V” shape, which makes chord shaping easy and the pearl dot inlays make it a breeze to find your way around the neck. Complete with a gold tailpiece and a gloss lacquer overcoat, the F-5L is proof that some things simply stand the test of time. This gorgeous instrument is in excellent condition with no dents or dings to be seen. It does not include the warranty, however it does come with the original hardshell case.Questions?
