This is a used and lightly played 2016 Custom Shop True Historic '59 Les Paul in an eye catching Dark Burst finish on a flame maple top. This guitar is in overall excellent condition.The double carved Maple top is mated to the Mahogany back with hide glue for a tone and sustain that has to be heard to be believed. The Mahogany neck is topped with a Rosewood fingerboard that features hand-rolled binding to get this guitar as close to original specifications as possible. All the small details from the Top Hat control knobs, to the authentically shaded plastics, to the classic Les Paul peghead veneer have been carefully recreated. The thin Vintage Dark Burst nitrocellulose lacquer finish is wet sanded by hand for a vintage style look and feel.
