This is a very rare and beautiful Rickenbacker Hamburg 230 model. I would rate it in very good condition. Everything functions as it should, the body has some light pick scratches, some buckle rash on the back, a few minor dings on the sides. There is also some lines in the clear from age on the neck, and a few below the bridge on the edge. I can't feel any of these as I run my hand over the surface. They are hard to see in photos, and the natural hides it very well. It looks very good, very nice appearance. The sound is amazing, the pickups have a higher gain than other Ricky's, and plenty of Mid's. it responses very well to overdrive, or can have a nice warm clean full sound. It comes with a case that is beat up looking in the outside but works well in protecting it on the inside. I did purchase a brand new Freedom case that fits it well that cost me $100.00. I can include the new case for an extra $100.00, or use the old case at no extra charge. No bidders outside the lower 48 states
