VALBUENA, PEDRO PEDRO VALBUENA - Flamenco - 1997 - Spruce and Cypress
1997, Spain. Spruce soundboard, cypress back and sides, 650 mm scale, 52 mm nut width, Fusteros tuners, lacquer finish mother of pearl dot fret marker on edge of fingerboard at 7th, golpeadors. Pedro C. Valbuena worked for more than 30 years for Ramirez prior to establishing his own shop. His Ramirez guitars are stamped PC on the heel. He passed away in 2007. This guitar has the authentic bright, percussive flamenco sound with superior projection. Very responsive, with a quick attack. Normal signs of use, quite acceptable, thanks to the golpeadors.
This is a rare beautiful guitar. Includes HSC.
