Truly great sounding circa-2008 American Standard Precision V. Hate to part with this versatile workhorse of a bass, but I'm mainly a four string guy these days and I need to fund another purchase. I replaced the original pickup with a Nordstrand NP5F (with special order Alnico 3 magnets), and an orange drop capacitor was installed by the previous owner. Huge improvement over the stock setup.Body has some belt buckle indentation on the back, and previous owner was a little clumsy with the soldering iron near the electronics cavity. I had this bass on the road a lot, and close inspection reveals many small imperfections that are pretty hard to notice from more than a few feet away. The neck is in excellent shape apart from a small ding on the back edge of the headstock. Action is nice and easy, and the frets have tons of life. Though I don't have an exact weight, this bass is unusually light and resonant for a solid body instrument. Will ship with original HSC, hang tag, and case candy.
