Welcome, I have for sale a really nice hand made 8 string electric mandolin, made by myself in my Devon Workshop. You can find out more about me at or else look up "Tavy" on the This instrument is designed to play and sound like a "plugged in acoustic", while being feedback resistant and embracing the "electric aesthetic", you can see and hear it in , or scroll down for the photos: The spec for this one is: Mahogany body and neck. Solid spruce top, with golden madrone veneer. Raduised ebony fretboard, brass fret markers, EVO gold fretwire, carbon fibre non-adjustable truss rod. Schaller tuners. Seymour Duncan cool rails pickup, with parallel/single/series switch, plus volume and tone (bass cut / high pass) controls Currently set up with D'Addario EFW74 chrome flatwound strings, action at fret 12 is 1.25mm (0.050") on the top e, increasing to 1.5mm (.060") on the low G. Nut width: 27mm. Neck depth at nut 20mm. Neck profile: rounded V. Scale length 352mm/13.8". "Vegan" model with no products of animal origin used in it's construction, this is primarily to make the instrument export/customs friendly. Instrument comes with limited lifetime warranty against structural defects to original owner. The not so small print Overseas bidders are welcome - I've set a "notional" cost of worldwide postage, but please wait for me to get a firm postage quote before paying and I'll ship at cost. Note that most international carriers exclude musical instruments from their insurance cover, so shipping is at the buyers own risk. If in any event you're not completely happy with the instrument, I'll accept a "no quibble" return and refund the full auction cost, but not the postage.
