genuine ESP KH-2 1999, CUSTOM SHOP version, not from the lesser signature series shop like the new ones.  I saw a brand new one at Samash music store for $3400.00 and the fretboard was not dark and rich like mine, it was lighter and looked like Indian rosewood. this one is true Brazilian Rosewood fretboard which is a banned outlawed wood now.  These older ones are the good ones, and this one is a gem.  This is my trophy.  Absolutely babied. This is a particularly nice specimen and the skull and crossbone inlays are flawless on this.  Straight grain neck (meaning the grain shows the neck wood was cut straight down the direction of the neck which grants much better sustain and strength, I have compared and I can hear the difference.  That is part of what you get for the price of these, top select pieces of wood.  Also this one is in almost perfectly flawless condition.  If you look really hard on the back, there are super thin light hairline marks probably from clothing.  I could not even capture them in the photos.  There is one scuff by the bottom straplock button that is barely noticeable, looks like a small pinky fingerprint, I couldn't seem to buff it out with a cotton rag but it cleaned up a little.  Other than that, it IS flawless.  You won't notice any of the things I mentioned and you will have to look hard to find them.  I will install a brand new 9v battery when I ship it.  This is all original: 81 EMG pickups, original Floyd Rose tremolo (in my opinion the best) and it stays tuned with the best guitars I have known, after a year still in perfect tune.  I have the certificate of authenticity and the tremolo arm with locking threaded collar, threads are perfect.  All tremolo threads are perfect and it is set up perfect with perfect intonation.  Includes original ESP case made in Canada.  These Custom Shop EMGs are better than the new ones so save $ and buy this collectable guitar with glass-like paint.  Only reason I am painfully selling is because I was offered a job out of state and I need 7 thousand dollars to move quick.  Best guitar I've ever owned, sounds amazing on my Mesa Boogie Electra-Dyne.  no visible fretware the frets are like new, no low spots, no intonation issues.  I recommend sticking with the same gauge of strings that are one it, which are .09-.42s and the action is great.  Everything on this guitar is clean.  Shipping to U.S. or Canada, I will NOT ship uninsured, international you need to message me and I will consider.
