1984/1985 DALLAS ERA SCHECTER PT TELECASTER - INCLUDES HARD CASE OR SCHECTER GIG BAG (YOUR CHOICE) Pretty rare opportunity to own an all original early 80s PT Telecaster.  It's a lawsuit model with the proper Telecaster headstock.  Serial Number is an A, indicating it's a first year Dallas production model. An absolute beast of a guitar - sounds incredible and plays like butter.Being over 30 years old, she's got bags of mojo ... beautifully aged and nicely worn in.She has a great spec ... Weighs in at a very comfortable 3.45 kg - very light and resonant. Has the original Schecter dual high output humbuckers - both splittable via the volume and tone pots.   I'm pretty sure they're Superrock pickups - sound is very articulate and clear.Body is custom bound on top with cream binding.  Has the knocks and dings you'd expect with a guitar of this age.  All adds to the character.  The strap pins are currently locking ones, but I will put the original black Schecter ones back on as and when she sells.Bridge is brass with beautiful patina - all parts are fully working.  Easy to adjust both height and length.  Sets up beautifully.Tuners are Schecter branded split pole.  They make restringing both easy and neat.  Tuning is rock solid (I seldom needed to tune up during gigs).Neck is 22 fret and maple - very smooth feel and beautifully aged through years of play.  Truss rod is fully operational.  The action is ultra low and she's buzz/choke free across the board.Currently strung with Elixir Nanoweb 11's.I sold my AVRI 62 Custom Telecaster to get this and never regretted it.I'm selling her now as our band isn't gigging nearly as much as we used to and she's just not getting the use she deserves.  I've never been a collector (although she is pretty collectible) and I don't want her to sit in her case unused.  I've also recently got into drums and bought a kit, so I need to sell any gear I'm not using. Please feel free to ask any questions.£800 or best offer.I'll post her out via Secure Courier (APC) or I can deliver within 100 miles of Shropshire for the diesel costs.  Of course, you're more than welcome to collect and try her out whilst you're here. Thanks for looking
