Up for sale is a 2013 Gibson J-45 Custom Shop gold top. This is 1 of 50 ever made and made after the 1950's gold top Les Paul model. I acquired it from Sam Ash Music for a good deal of money as it was given to the store from Gibson for the grand opening. The tone is incredible on this guitar, but I do not play it often as it is VERY rare. I have seen only one other for sale on Sweetwater Music and it went for close to $3000. There are a few tiny marks near the bridge as shown in the pictures and a streak of clear coat that has dulled a bit on the back also shown in the pictures. Even still, I rate this incredibly rare piece a 9.5/10. It still has the plastic on the pickguard. Also, it is an acoustic/electric with a pickup and volume knob inside of the sound hole. The guitar comes with all case candy, Gibson case, but no COA. The COA was done for the guitar, but Sam Ash misplaced it. I called Gibson and they cannot issue another COA, but the guitar can be verified using the serial number in the sound hole. I wish you good luck in bidding. Please feel free to ask questions.
