1991 B.C. Rich Mockingbird with Floyd Rose Tremelo. Owner Ronnie Younkins of Kix. Bernie Rico (founder of B.C. Rich) himself, along with his other master luthier Dave Vert, custom made this guitar by hand for me in California in January 1991. The guitar has a maple neck through body, Ebony fretboard, it has a 25" scale, 24 medium jumbo frets and Grover Imperial tuners. The truss rod works properly. The neck is very comfortable to the hand to play! It's not too fat and not too skinny. The guitar has 2 Seymour Duncan Custom pickups. The bridge pickup is wired for split coil. The tone control is a push pull potentiometer that operates the coil tap on that pickup. There is a 180 microfarad / 50 Hz capacitor on the neck pickup's volume potentiometer, which cleans up the tone of that pickup as you turn it's volume down! The main body/sides of the guitar are made of beautiful Koa. This guitar has a Floyd Rose tremolo system. It reads "B. C. Rich Licensed by Floyd Rose" on it. It works fantastically! You can dive bomb it down until the strings are so loose they practically hang off of the neck, only to return to perfect tuning when released! The guitar is tuned and set up to 1/2 step down from A 440 pitch. It has 10 - 46 gauge strings on it. If you would prefer the guitar to be tuned to pitch I will do so. I will of course adjust the action of the strings, the Floyd Rose action and adjust the neck if necessary after I change the  tuning. This guitar is in perfect condition. I have kept it in it's case in my home. It has been kept in a room at 70° temperature and 45% relative humidity. I played it out live once at the Patriot Center, where we (Kix) headlined a show in 1991. I retired this guitar from any more live performances and just continued to use my more road worn guitars so this beautiful instrument would not get dented or scratched up. It is in perfect, new, absolutely mint condition. There is not a mark on it.  I recorded with this guitar. It is a GREAT sounding and playing guitar and once again the tremelo system works amazingly well!! It can be heard on Kix's fifth album/CD Hot Wire: I played it on the songs 'Cold Chills' and 'Hee Bee Gee Bee Crush'. It also can be heard on Kix's seventh CD Show Business,  played on songs '911' and 'Book to Hypnotize'.  Included in the guitar's case are the Allen wrenches necessary for adjustments, a strap  with Shaller strap locks that snap to the Shaller strap lock buttons on the guitar, four sets of FR (Floyd Rose) 10 - 46 gauge strings and three signed pictures of me with the guitar at The Patriot Center before our Kix show in 1991. I can also include a recent Kix 8x10 signed by the band if you'd like. The case that Bernie Rico and Dave Vert shipped the guitar to me in is in great condition and very clean, as you can see in the pictures. At the time, they did not have a properly fitted case for the guitar at their California shop so the case is a bit longer than the guitar. It works just fine, but I have some foam in it to keep the guitar snug.  Please ask any and all questions. Thank you, Ronnie.
