Description Brand: Lomo Model: 19a9 Type: Vintage Microphone
This exact microphone is in excellent overall condition and is a great sample of these units. It was just gone through by a reputable tech last week and given a very clean bill of health. May great years of recording ahead of it. Comes with all cables in great operating condition, power supply the same with a recap and even the connector for the mic to attach to modern stands as well as the power converter. The following description is from Countant: Vintage Russian tube Microphone Lomo 19A9 Lenkinap 1962 year. Made in Russia with a 33mm large diaphragm gold plated, this mic has a wide cardioid pattern and is very sensitive. It is a Lomo 19A9 tube microphone made in Russia in 1962. The head has a large diaphragm M 7 type cardioid capsule. The sound reminds me of a cross between a C 12 and a Neumann U 47. This one in particular is a fantastic-sounding microphone. It is excellent for vocals, and has a warm, smooth, and detailed sound. The low end is warm but still tight with a sparkling high end. Great mic for everything: guitars, strings, and drums. For symphony orchestra. A lot of the sound of this mic is because it has a huge output transformer in the power supply. This mic comes with the original Lomo power supply that is 220 volts.
