just added custom concert toms to our product line, and this was our prototype set. There are a few very minor cosmetic flaws because we were experimenting with a few things as we were designing and building these, but probably nothing that anyone other than us would notice
These are 6-ply maple with re-rings on the batter side, 12-ply maple hoops, and rounded 30 degree bearing edges, so they have a dark but articulate attack with a very musical sustain and a wide usable tuning range. Finish on the top three drums is a conversion varnish, and the bottom drum is finished with Epifanes marine varnish, so they're super durable and should be pretty resilient to humidity/temperature changes in terms of tuning. This prototype set is 8"x10", 10"x12", 11"x13", 12"x14". Buyer pays actual shipping. Message me for shipping estimates.
